As I am sure most of you are aware, the guys at Peel & Stone are due to open their next bakery in Harborne very soon.
Located on the roundabout where the High Street meets War Lane and Lordswood Road, they have been busy building a new premises in what has looked like a derelict shop for the past few years. It has taken a while, with the unit split over multiple levels including a basement, but they are almost ready and getting close to throwing open the doors.
The team have been assembled for the opening and as a trial for them, and a preview for the rest of us, the new team are running the existing venue in the Jewellery Quarter for a couple of Saturdays for the public to purchase and sample the food offering that we can expect once they open in Harborne.
So over the next couple of Saturdays you can pop along to the existing Peel & Stone Arch 33, Water Street, Birmingham B3 1HL for a take-away preview. Prices to be provided on the day. The details are:
Saturday 9th April & Saturday 16th April

We’ve heard some of what is planned for the new Peel & Stone Harborne, but have promised to keep quiet until they make their announcement, but I am sure plenty of you will have noticed the mention of hot food and beer in these menus! Not what you might have been expecting from a “bakery” as we know and expect.
We are very excited to be getting this new addition, from the excellent Peel & Stone team, just a short walk from home!
